Help To Prevent This From Happening To You: I have 70 acres of land Somebody came in an cut down 1299 trees Which was mostly maple It looks like they took the middle part of tree leaving the tops and logs every where I found some piles that they didn’t get out.
There were cut in 12 to 14 foot long about 17 to 24 inches across… My neighbor had sold some 6 months and got over 1000.00 for each tree for the veneer he did quite well.
Our basic program is designed to reward landowners that are interested in sustainable management of their timberland by partnering with us. We realize that right now while we are in our start up or "pilot phase" there are questions as to how exactly this program will work for every individual landowner for their particular circumstance.
The Michigan Timber Conservation, LLC - Forest Legacy Group enables forest
owners the greatest amount of sustainable forest management information
available anywhere to address these concerns. We aid in and encourage
communication among our membership to provide a community and help
establish long term collaboration with and amoung our partner members.
